Do you find yourself getting a little bored with all the square-jawed, upright superheroes invading our multiplexes with their flagrant do-goodery and their bright-colored outfits? Then you’ll enjoy the first trailer for next year’s Ghost Rider sequel. Essentially ignoring the fondly-forgotten 2007 original film, the new movie looks to be carrying Nicolas Cage’s cursed motorcyclist into gleefully over-the-top territory — not surprising, since the sequel is being helmed by the Crank directorial duo of Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. And when I say “over-the-top,” I’m mainly referring to the trailer-closing image of Ghost Rider urinating fire. (Disruptive urination = so hot right now.) Also, Christopher Lambert is in this movie.
