Bradley Cooper in, Mark Wahlberg out of talks for 'The Silver Linings Playbook'
EW has confirmed that Mark Wahlberg has dropped out of The Silver Linings Playbook, the adaptation of the Matthew Quick novel that The Fighter director David O. Russell is directing this fall. The silver-lining? Bradley Cooper is back in the mix, negotiating for the role of an ex-high school teacher living with his mother after a stay in a mental hospital. The Hunger Games‘ Jennifer Lawrence would play an eccentric neighbor. (Deadline first reported this story.)
