Samuel L. Jackson is a man who is very clearly having fun. You could quibble with his onscreen track record. Heck, you could argue that he has starred in some of the worst movies of the past decade. But Jackson has the ability — usually associated with aging British actors — to bring an exploding volcano of charisma to even the cheesiest cinematic dross. Enter Arena, an upcoming film starring teeny-bopping vampire hotties Kellan Lutz and Nina Dobrev, both of whom play second fiddle to a scenery-chomping Jackson in the just-released trailer. It looks like The Running Man crossed with Death Race crossed with Gamer crossed with Samuel L. Jackson wearing a suit designed by robo-Armani, screaming random syllables and generally looking like a man who has not a care in the world. Prepare yourselves.
