Khaaaaaaaaaan! Oh wait, it’s not Khan, it’s Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner, who spoke to EW’s Adam B. Vary at this year’s Comic-Con. In San Diego to promote his documentary, The Captains — in which the actor interviews Chris Pine, Patrick Stewart, and all other stars who played Star Trek captains — Shatner talked about the convention, filming his project, and Captain Kirk as a figure to look up to. “If there’s a role model for being a man and appreciating woman and being forthright and being patriotic and serving your country and doing all the niceties of Americana, that’s great,” he said. Watch the interview after the jump.
