According to this uproarious trailer for Adam Sandler’s new family comedy Jack and Jill, “In every family, there’s one person who drives you a little crazy.” Surprise! It’s Adam Sandler in drag — looking very SNL Gap Girl — playing his own twin sister. Jill is loud, obnoxious, terrible at motorized gardening, and a horse collapses when she sits on it. What a disastrous lady! But someone sees the good in the tragicomic ladysandler from across the Lakers court. It’s hot dog lothario AL PACINO. Really?!

Really! When Al Pacino looks at Jill, he sees himself. Really! Okay, sure. Now everybody dance. Adam Sandler, kindly perform a double dutch routine with yourself. That’s perfect. Roll credits.

Will you be in theaters on 11/11/11? And would this movie make more or less sense if Jill Zarin was playing Jill?

Oh, and just for the record I was very disappointed that this wasn’t a full-length feature film about the 1999 WB series. A moment of silence, please.
