Columbia Pictures is in “early talks” with Neil Burger (Limitless) to direct a blockbuster adaptation of the popular video game, Uncharted, according to a studio spokesperson. David O. Russell and Mark Wahlberg has been circling the project for some time, but the recent shift will reopen the conversation of who should star in the film — a conversation that was dominated, at least online, by fans of Nathan Fillion. If Burger comes aboard, though, prepare for whispers that he’ll bring his Limitless star, Bradley Cooper, with him.
