Prince Albert of Monaco and South African Olympic swimmer Charlene Wittstock were married today in a civil ceremony, People reports. The couple, who met in 2000 and began dating in 2005, will also exchange vows tomorrow in a traditional Catholic ceremony. The pre-wedding festivities began yesterday with an Eagles concert, and the royal family will host a reception tonight at the Monaco Port. The wedding celebrations are estimated to have cost more than $65 million.
