Entertainment Weekly has confirmed a Variety report that Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston is in talks to join Argo, Ben Affleck’s movie about a team of CIA agents who rescued American hostages in Iran by posing as filmmakers. The three-time Emmy-winning actor, who could play a Boston-bred CIA agent who helps plan the 1980 operation, is already slated for roles in Rock of Ages and the Total Recall remake.
