The French, I tell ya. They tried to rip off Elvis Presley and all they came up with was Johnny Hallyday. The French New Wave told us our Howard Hawks and Sam Fuller were great directors, but we knew that anyway. The French have also come up with their own version of The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, by which I mean an exact copy of The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, and what does Craig do?

He goes over there to tape some shows, and he thoroughly embraces the rip-off artist, Arthur (Jacques Essebag), who hosts Tonight with Arthur. Last night, Craig showed just how much he enjoys being ripped off:

He’s a good sport, isn’t he? Ferguson’s French shows will air in August; can’t wait.
