Katie Couric gets a talk show, Jane Lynch tries her hand at hosting, and more

Katie Couric has signed a multi-year deal with ABC for a syndicated talk show that will debut in September 2012. She’ll also join the ABC News team.

Glee star Jane Lynch will host this year’s Emmy Awards, airing on Fox Sept. 18.

The as-yet-untitled 23rd James Bond movie will be released in the U.K. on Oct. 26, 2012, and on Nov. 9 in the U.S.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Eliza Dushku will lend her voice to an online motion comic based on Starz’s upcoming edition of the cult sci-fi series Torchwood.

CMT has ordered the reality series Texas Women, about four ladies working in the rodeo and country-music industries.

Josh Duhamel will return to All My Children for a cameo in an August episode. The Las Vegas star left the soap in 2003.
