From the Garden State to the land of Oz: EW has confirmed that former Scrubs star Zach Braff is in talks to be the latest to join Disney’s star-studded Wizard of Oz prequel, Oz: The Great and Powerful. In the film, directed by Sam Raimi, Braff would play a character who serves as an assistant to Oz (James Franco), an oil salesman who finds himself battling witches after his balloon lands him in the mystical land. Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz are on board as witches in Oz; Michelle Williams has been cast as Glinda. Expect Oz in theaters on March 8, 2013.
