Actress Marion Cotillard, 35, and actor-director Guillaume Canet, 38, welcomed their first child, Marcel, on May 19 in Paris…. Actor David Schwimmer, 44, became a father on May 8 when his wife, Zoe Buckman, gave birth to a baby girl, Cleo, in New York City.

Jeff Conaway, 60, known for his roles in Grease and on the TV series Taxi, was found unconscious May 11 and taken to an Encino, Calif., hospital. He is currently in a coma.

Funnyman Russell Brand, 35, was denied entry to Japan, where his wife, Katy Perry, 26, was performing. The deportation was reportedly due to his previous drug-related arrests.

Actress Rosie Perez, 46, reportedly filed a lawsuit against the producers of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit over an injury she alleges she suffered while filming a 2009 episode…. Reality star Mike ”The Situation” Sorrentino, 28, has filed suit against his father, Frank Sorrentino, alleging an illegal use of the Jersey Shore personality’s likeness on the elder Sorrentino’s website.

Australian actor Bill Hunter, 71, died May 21 of cancer in Melbourne…. Randy Mario Poffo, better known by his professional wrestling sobriquet ”Macho Man” Randy Savage, was killed in a car accident May 20 near Tampa. He was 58.
