Now this is how you make an entrance, people. During Monday night’s Conan, Zach Galifianakis — one of the trio of handsome Hangover Part II men gracing our cover this week — decided to take the whole “dropping in” to a talk show thing to the next level.

After Conan O’Brien announced Galifianakis, there was a brief pause before the funny man descended — well, more like plummeted — to the set like a bearded angel. Major props to Galifianakis for committing to the bit (from the looks of it, that was no stunt man) with both the initial fall and the stumble afterward. “I got confused how to enter,” Galifianakis told Coco when he finally planted himself at his guest chair.

The entire interview was as entertaining as his spectacular entrance (which is even more impressive in slow motion), as the two funny men talked everything from his hard-to-spell/pronounce last name, what it’s like living in the torch of the Statue of Liberty, and being at the White House Correspondents’ dinner. Galifianakis attended the event a few weeks ago and was seated at the same table as Jon Hamm. (When Hamm stopped by Conan last week, the Bridesmaids actor admitted that he and Galifianakis had a blast having a laugh at the expense of that evening’s most roasted guest, Donald Trump.) “Everybody was laughing at Donald Trump and it was the most beautiful thing in the world,” Galifianakis told O’Brien and Andy Richter. Galifianakis, like Hamm, didn’t much hide his dislike for Trump, calling him “the bully of the world” and recalling that he opted not to go up to him because, “You don’t want to engage with somebody that’s so grotesque.” Oh, Zach, we’re continuing to fall for you more and more.

Did you catch Zach Galifianakis’ appearance on Conan last night, PopWatchers? Do you think his fall was real? What did you think of his comments about Trump?
