'Celebrity Apprentice': And the fired celebrities are...
[/caption]
In an episode that featured Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider, another Meat Loaf freak out, and a positively absurd amount of 7UP, two celebrities were fired, leaving just two to battle it out for the title of Celebrity Apprentice. My full recap will be up at 2am (UPDATE: Click here to see Dalton’s full Celebrity Apprentice recap), but if you can’t wait to sound off about the final two, then read on for more. [SPOILER ALERT: Read on only if you have already watched Sunday’s episode of The Celebrity Apprentice.]
After having his final four interviewed by previous Celebrity Apprentice winners Piers Morgan, Joan Rivers, and Bret Michaels, Donald Trump cut loose Lil John for saying he didn’t think he deserved to make the final two, and Meat Loaf for basically being a crying, screaming mess. That set up a final two battle between John Rich and Marlee Matlin, making this the third time this season the two have squared off.
The duo was then tasked with creating a display, commercial, and can and box designs for something called 7UP Retro. After selecting from a pool of former fired celebrities that to everyone’s relief did not include Gary Busey, the teams set off to create soda pop magic! And how do you create soda pop magic? With wigs! And superheroes! And zebra stripes! The winner will be crowned the next Celebrity Apprentice, but we won’t know who that is until next week’s finale.
Check back later for my full recap. In the meantime, what did you think? Did the right two make it to the finals? Who do you think has the early edge in the final task? And did you understand a single word of Meat Loaf’s 7UP script? Hit the message boards and let us know. And for more Celebrity Apprentice news and views, follow me on Twitter @EWDaltonRoss.
