LimeWire pays record companies $105 million

LimeWire has agreed to pay 13 major record labels $105 million, ending five years of lawsuits over copyright infringement, Reuters reports. A judge had shut down LimeWire in October after the court decided that the music-sharing site had helped users pirate licensed music.
