'RuPaul's Drag U': Season 2 guest judges include 'Glee' star Dot Jones, Molly Ringwald, Carnie Wilson, and more -- EXCLUSIVE
- Movie
RuPaul’s Drag Race aired its final episode of season 3 last week, but that doesn’t mean that you have too long for more queens on Logo. No, silly, the reality show’s spin-off, RuPaul’s Drag U — the series that finds Drag Race alums making over what RuPaul refers to as “biological women” — returns for 10 brand-new episodes on June 20 at 9 p.m., and EW has exclusively learned the list of luminaries serving as guest judges this coming season. As you can see from the photo here, Glee‘s Dot Jones — who plays fan-favorite Coach Beiste and is pictured with RuPaul — is at the top of the list. The rest of the guest judges include actresses Molly Ringwald, Lynda Carter, Shirley Jones, Raven Simone; singer-actress Charo; singer Carnie Wilson; model Beverly Johnson; and two Ugly Betty alums: Ana Ortiz and Alec Mapa.
Last season’s guest judges included Mia Tyler, Taylor Dayne, Kris Jenner, Kelly Osbourne, Jackée Harry, Debi Mazar, Meredith Baxter, and Chaka Khan. As has already been announced, a cadre of queens from Drag Race‘s three season will serve as “professors” on the show: Jujubee (season 2), Morgan McMichaels (season 2), Ongina (season 1), Pandora Boxx (season 2), Raven (season 2), and Shannel (season 1) are returning to the Drag U fold, while past winners of the America’s Next Drag Superstar crown, BeBe Zahara Benet (season 1) and Tyra Sanchez (season 2), as well as season 3 favorites Manila Luzon, Mariah, and Carmen Carerra, are joining the ranks this season. (Nina Flowers and Tammie Brown, who appeared on Drag U last season, aren’t set to return this season.) One question: Where’s season 3 winner Raja?
