'Jersey Shore' Situation Spin-Off

Get ready for The Situation: The Series. EW has officially confirmed that MTV has signed a development deal with Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino to film a spin-off series from the monstrously popular Jersey Shore. (The network has already greenlit two otherseries starring Shore cast members, one with DJ Paul “Pauly D” Delvecchio and another centering on Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and Jenni “J-Woww” Farley.)

The pilot presentation for the Situation’s series will be shot later this year, after filming is completed on season 4 of Shore. No more details about the potential series were available at this time. Suffice it to say that MTV is in the Jersey Shore business, and cousin, business is a-boomin’.
