The Social Network breakout Armie Hammer has already capitalized on his fantastic performance in that Oscar-winning film with high-profile castings in Clint Eastwood’s J. Edgar opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Tarsem Singh’s The Brothers Grimm: Snow White with Julia Roberts. Now he’s attached to star in the upcoming psychological thriller 2:22. In the film, Hammer will play an air-traffic controller who just misses being responsible for a mid-air collision between two planes. He then realizes that the near-disaster is actually related to a decades-old murder. The film, which will be looking for international sales deals at this month’s Cannes Film Festival, will begin filming in Sydney in the fall.
