'Dancing with the Stars' kicks up 21.8 million fans
Competing mostly against reruns, ABC scored a win among adults 18-49 (3.2 rating/8 share) and viewers (15.3 million) on Monday, according to fast nationals. Dancing With the Stars was easily the most-watched show of the night with 21.8 million viewers, but it also dominated across all demos, including a 9.8/22 in women 35-54 (two words: A mazing). The lead-in gave a nice boost to Better With You, which earned a 2.6/6, up 63 percent from last Wednesday’s 8:30 p.m. telecast. It averaged 11.6 million.
CBS aired mostly repeats, save an original of Mad Love (2.0/5, 5.5 million). NBC aired fresh episodes of The Event (1.3/3, 4.4 million), and Law & Order: LA (1.3/3, 5.7 million). Fox ran repeats of House and The Chicago Code.
On the CW, 90210 averaged 1.7 million and Gossip Girl, 1.5 million.
