This Valentine’s Day for the teen set follows the interlocking stories of several high-schoolers as they prepare for the titular end-of-year dance. The fresh-faced cast includes Friday Night Lights alum Aimee Teegarden (as a smart girl improbably named “Nova”) and Shameless actor Cameron Monaghan, among a host of unknowns; Faith Ford also shows up as one of the few adult characters. Expect crazy outfits, heightened emotions, and plenty of dancing — in other words, all the elements of a musical, minus the singing.
