In this 3D animated film, Jesse Eisenberg voices a blue macaw named Blu, the last male of his species. After scientists discover that a female blue macaw — voiced by Anne Hathaway — is living in Rio de Janeiro, they send Blu south so that he and the lady bird can mate. (Talk about performance anxiety.) Along the way, of course, hijinks ensue. George Lopez, Wanda Sykes, will.i.am, Jamie Foxx, and Jermaine Clement of Flight of the Concords all play feathered friends.
