James Franco reteams with Pineapple Express director David Gordon Green for another mind-altered comedy, but this time they’re going medieval. Franco and Danny McBride play two princes — an airhead and a pothead, respectively — who are tasked with saving a princess (Zooey Deschanel) from the clutches of an evil wizard. Natalie Portman also stars. ”It’s not a spoof, it’s just a crazy movie with ridiculous characters who take themselves too seriously,” says Green. ”We wanted actors who were dramatically capable, because that just makes it much, much funnier.” —Keith Staskiewicz
