DIRECTED BY Tim Hill

Even mythical creatures have daddy issues. That’s the premise behind Hop, a live-action/CGI-animated film that follows E.B. (Russell Brand), a teenage rabbit destined to inherit his father’s job: being the Easter Bunny. But because E.B. would rather become a drummer than a professional chocolate egg distributor, he runs away from his home on — you guessed it — Easter Island and takes refuge with an unemployed human (James Marsden). Hugh Laurie and Hank Azaria lend their voices to the flick, while Kaley Cuoco and Mel Brooks also appear in supporting human roles.
