Two FX projects are expected to get picked up: The cable network is nearing a deal to bring back snarky spy comedy Archer and neo-Western Justified for third seasons.

Both are easy decisions for the network, especially after Lights Out and Terriers didn’t work out: Archer is up about 22 percent compared to last season and Justified is up around 8 percent. Neither renewals are finalized — there are still deals that need to be made on both shows — but insiders expect them to be done by the time FX’s upfront presentation rolls around.
