Eat your heart out, Ponce de León: The new trailer for Pir4tes of the C4ribbe4n: On Str4nger Tides offers an extended look at the film’s plot, a race to discover the mythical Fountain of Youth. We also get to see a lot more of Blackbeard, played by Ian McShane, who has apparently taken over Captain Sparrow’s beloved Black Pearl and turned it into some sort of living ship, Event Horizon-style. There are also homicidal psycho mermaids, adorable imprisoned mermaids, and the ongoing eyeliner face-off between Penelope Cruz and Johnny Depp. Check out the trailer after the jump…
