STARRING Matthew McConaughey, Marisa Tomei, and Ryan Phillippe
DIRECTED BY Brad Furman

No, this movie doesn’t have anything to do with our 16th president. Instead, the title refers to a criminal defense attorney (Matthew McConaughey, unfortunately be-shirted) who runs his practice out of a Lincoln sedan adorned with a license plate that reads “NTGUILTY” (seriously). He faces his toughest challenge yet when he takes on the case of a handsome playboy (Ryan Phillippe) accused of both attempted murder and rape. Marisa Tomei and William H. Macy class up the proceedings in supporting roles.</p.
