Michelle Obama to appear during Hall of Game Awards

Obama is the national spokesperson for Let’s Move!, the national initiative to raise a healthier generation of children, and her special taped appearance will recognize select schools that have successfully promoted nutrition and physical activity to reduce childhood obesity.
“Along with honoring the nominees and winners of Cartoon Network’s Hall of Game Awards, Mrs. Obama is participating so that she can personally acknowledge some other winners who definitely have game,” said Turner executive, Stuart Snyder, in a statement. “Speaking on behalf of everyone at Cartoon Network and Turner Broadcasting, Mrs. Obama’s appearance truly is an incredible honor and we are extremely grateful that she is participating.”
The Cartoon Network Hall of Game Awards, hosted by skateboarder, Tony Hawk, will air Feb. 25, at 7 p.m.
