On the Books February 11th: 'Fighter' screenwriter Scott Silver bringing Michael Kortya's 'So Cold the River' to big screen

Little, Brown announced in a press release that screenwriter Scott Silver, currently nominated for an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for The Fighter, is adapting Michael Kortya’s critically praised thriller So Cold the River for the big screen.

Julianne Moore, Mindy Kaling, and Jim Lehrer are set to headline BookExpo America, set for May 24-26 at the Javits Center in Manhattan. Each will serve as MC’s of author events throughout BEA.
