What scandal? 'Two and A Half Men' tops Monday
Image Credit: Peter Sorel/FoxTwo and a Half Men demonstrated once again that it’s the most scandal-proof show on TV. The CBS comedy was Monday’s No. 1 program in viewers (15.1 million), adults 18-49 (4.4 rating/11 share) and adults 25-54 (6.0 rating/14 share), according to early results. The episode was one of two remaining originals that CBS had in the can before Charlie Sheen agreed to undergo rehabilitation. The next one is set to air Feb. 14.
As a result, CBS was first for the night in viewers (11.5 million) and 18-49 (3.5/9). Though Men is definitely the strongest comedy in the network’s arsenal, the other shows performed admirably. How I Met Your Mother earned a 3.8/11 and 10.1 million viewers (thanks, guest star Katy Perry!), followed by Rules of Engagement (3.2/8, 9.4 million), Mike & Molly (3.6/9, 12.7 million), and Hawaii Five-0 (2.8/8, 10.8 million).
Fox was second for the night, thanks to heavily promoted episode of House (4.3/12, 12.3 million) and the premiere of The Chicago Code (2.5/7, 9.4 million). ABC was third in the demo (2.9/8) and viewers (9.5 million), with The Bachelor earning a 3.1/8 and 9.7 million, and Castle a 2.5/7 and 9.2 million.
NBC came in fourth (1.6/4, 6.3 million). Chuck (1.7/5, 5.4 million), tied a series low, while The Cape (1.3/3, 4.5 million) and Harry’s Law (1.7/5, 9.1 million), posted series lows.
