That ’70s Show star Danny Masterson’s Playing With Guns project has found a new home: Comedy Central, which just greenlit a pilot.

This marks the second time the show’s pilot has been ordered. The first was last April, back when Spike TV was developing the show. Since, the show has been reworked (wild guess: more funny?) and re-cast (Ethan Suplee from My Name Is Earl joins), and is now being re-shot for a new network.

Guns (from Varsity Pictures, Lionsgate and Central Productions) is about two slacker best friends who sign up for a job that allows them to hang out together, run red lights, and best of all, play with guns. They become cops, patrolling the suburban town they grew up in and trying to get the most out of their badges while doing the least amount of police work possible.
