The first 20 seconds of the new Brotherhood trailer makes it seem like some something of the Glory Daze ilk — but it turns out, these guys have more on their minds than blondes and beer. Like, we’re talking life and death. A frat brother (Jon Foster, CBS’s Accidentally on Purpose) tells his pledges to hold up a convenience store (all part of the initiation, naturally), and a fellow pledge accidentally gets shot. Things escalate, and pledge Adam (Trevor Morgan, Jurassic Park III, The Sixth Sense) struggles between going to the authorities to save his friend’s life and acquiescing to his senior brother’s illegal orders.
