'Lethal Weapon' reboot in the works at Warner Bros.
Danny Glover’s Roger Murtaugh might be too old for this s—, but Warner Bros. is betting that a new generation is ready for another Lethal Weapon film. A spokesperson from Warner Bros. confirms to EW that a fifth Lethal Weapon film, which has been bouncing around their offices for a long time, has been farmed out to writer Will Beall (Castle). (Deadline first reported the story.) Rather than reunite Glover and Mel Gibson for another adventure, however, Beall will reportedly reboot the franchise with new characters.
