Snowden tells the Reporter that final ballistics report confirms that the Hollywood publicist was killed on Nov. 16 by Harold Martin Smith, an unemployed man who later killed himself when confronted by police. “That man is the man that shot her, there is no conspiracy, nothing else was involved,” Snowden is quoted as saying, adding that an official press release on the slaying will be issued next week. A spokesperson for the Beverly Hills Police Department could not be reached for confirmation.
