You’re welcome. While we await that hour, which airs immediately following the AFC Championship game on Sunday (so you knew Kono would be sporting a bikini somehow), let’s discuss last night’s episode. At what point did you realize the “kidnapped” daughter was the star of Center Stage, Amanda Schull (a.k.a. Jody Sawyer)? That’s some range she showed (spoiler alert!) playing a woman, pictured below, who, with the help of her lover, killed her cancer-stricken husband and tried to send his severed head to her father so he would think her kidnappers were serious and pay them $5 million in ransom (which would set her and her lover up nicely in Paris). Also, was anyone else shocked how long it took Steve and Danno to realize it was a kidnapping they were supposedly dealing with? Her father (Ally McBeal‘s Greg Germann) had two steel briefcases in his office, was nervously looking at his watch, said he’d been waiting for a phone call, and told Danno that he should know how far a father would go to protect his daughter because he had one, too. Why were they surprised when they followed the father to a money drop?
