Fire on the Amazon | JUNGLE FLAMES A young Sandra Bullock in Fire on the Amazon

A year before Speed, Sandra Bullock was just another unknown looking for a break. She found one — sort of — in Fire on the Amazon, a Roger Corman-produced jungle thriller in Bolivia featuring lines like ”The rain forest is no place for a gringo.” Bullock plays a fiery idealist out to stop greedy developers with the help of a hunky journalist (Craig Sheffer). It?s not good, but you?ll want to hang around for their writhing nude love scene set to pan-flute music in a bamboo hut. C?
