It’s hard to get noticed when you hardly have any lines, but Britain’s Daisy Haggard, 30, still grabs our attention as the brilliant facial contortionist on Showtime’s Episodes. Here’s how she does it.

Let your mind wander to bad places
”I keep a personal story in my head to keep the disgust on my face, like a stomachache or bad smell…constant discomfort.”

Imitation is the best form of flattery
”There is somebody I know who has got the most wonderful smell-something-bad face, so I took from that.”

Don’t be shy
”I shocked myself once by making a sound so weird that I burst out laughing. I’m just an idiot, actually!”
