Julianne Hough, known as much for her Dancing With the Stars gig as for her country music, is achieving new popularity by combining both aspects of her career with the video for her single “Is That So Wrong.” The video displays Hough getting all hot ‘n’ bothered waiting for her boyfriend to come over. In the process, she loses bits of her clothing, poor thing.

I’m impressed with the number of somersaults Hough can turn on a sofa and a bed. I’m slightly less impressed with the power-balladry of the song, but it’s a perfectly serviceable piece of music. As usual, it always helps move the product if there’s a controversy attached. The Washington Post reported that Hough said at a recent concert that CMT, Country Music Television, has “kinda banned” the video. CMT hasn’t made a formal comment yet. The video isn’t featured on its website.

What do you think of Hough’s song, and the video?
