'Jeopardy!' champ lands role in 'Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close'
Thomas Horn, the 13-year-old boy who won $31,800 on Jeopardy! has hit another jackpot. According to Variety, Warner Bros. has cast Horn as the central character in Stephen Daldry’s adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer’s novel, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock have already been cast in the story about a boy whose father perishes in the Sept. 11 attacks in New York.
