Tonight, Robert De Niro will host Saturday Night Live; the musical guest is Diddy-Dirty Money. De Niro has reached a point in his career in which he’s increasingly comfortable with doing silly film comedies, such as his upcoming Little Fockers. Which should put him in the right frame of mind for SNL sketches, right?

As was true the previous times De Niro hosted SNL, the host can go either way — spoof his most famous drama roles, or pretty much ignore them and just do SNL-style stuff. Or both. With De Niro, you get the feeling that whatever mood he’s in just before the TV performance might dictate the mood of the show itself. Which could make for some interesting live TV.

What kinds of sketches would you like to see De Niro take part in? Any guesses as to what current events SNL will address tonight?

Please give your opinions and suggestions below. Then come back to EW.com early Sunday morning for my piping-hot fresh review of the show.
