The Wrap reports that the Walt Disney Company has officially closed its deal with Filmyard Holdings LLC, selling Miramax to the consortium for $660 million. Filmyard Holdings now owns such hits as Shakespeare in Love and Pulp Fiction. Disney had acquired Miramax back in 1993, purchasing the studio from Harvey and Bob Weinstein for $80 million.
