Image Credit: ShowtimeAmid news of stronger-than-ever ratings, it is being reported that Dexter is set to return for season 6. (Showtime has yet to issue a confirmation.)

With two episodes to go this season, the show earned 2.54 million viewers last week, a hair behind the series high of 2.57 million set by the season 4 finale.
