Polish-born actress and horror icon Ingrid Pitt died today at the age of 73, according to the AP. Pitt was a concentration camp survivor who first made her mark in the movies when she was cast alongside Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton in the 1968 actioner Where Eagles Dare. But she will be remembered for her appearances in such horror films as 1970’s The Vampire Lovers and the following year’s The House That Dripped Blood.
