This week, reports have surfaced that the starlet doesn’t have enough money to pay for her $50,000 stint at the Betty Ford Center. No money, mo problems, I guess. Instead of, you know, just looking for a less expensive rehab facility, Lohan is seeking sponsors to foot the bill.

Enter PETA. Yes. You read that right. The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to Lohan offering to help pay the $50,000 bill if she will “rid [herself] of one more toxic substance: meat.” So let’s recap: Be famous. Have an addiction. Become a vegan. Go to rehab for free!

I’m going to go out on a limb and say eating meat is the least of LiLo’s “toxic substance” problems. But maybe going vegan is just the thing she needs to successfully complete her treatment.
