Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are that you’ve heard of Stieg Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy books: The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest. The late Swedish author’s works have Hollywood buzzing, and production on the upcoming U.S. adaptation of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (starring Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander) is now underway. Why all the fuss? Aren’t these books just about eating sandwiches?

Yes they may eat a lot of sandwiches, but protagonist Lisbeth Salander is still a pretty badass female character (and it’s not just because of her fierce hairstyle). But is she the toughest female movie character of all time? How do you think she compares to the likes of Tomb Raiders‘ Lara Croft, or Sarah Connor in Terminator 2: Judgement Day?

In honor of the release of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest, we’re giving away one ultimate Millennium Trilogy prize pack (which includes copies of all three books, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and The Girl Who Played with Fire on DVD, and a theatrical poster of The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest, signed by star Noomi Rapace), plus 10 copies of The Girl Who Played with Fire on Blu-ray. The prizes are courtesy of Music Box Films, and are available while supplies last. To win, let us know who you think is the ultimate female movie badass, and why. (Here’s our Action Movie Chicks gallery to get you started.)
