''The Big Bang Theory'' meets ''Mike & Molly''? Yes, please. Plus, two more of our dream show combinations
The Oct. 12 episode of The CW’s Life Unexpected merged TV worlds by featuring characters from One Tree Hill. Firm believers that fusion is fun, we brainstormed three crossover events that we’re crossing our fingers for.
THE BIG BANG THEORY + MIKE & MOLLY
While Mike and Molly are visiting Molly’s pal Penny at the Cheesecake Factory, they bump into Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, and Howard. The boys offer to devise a ”science-y way” for them to eat unlimited desserts without gaining weight. Fortunately, Sheldon’s grueling battery of tests causes Mike and Molly so much stress that they wind up losing their appetites forever.
BOARDWALK EMPIRE + JERSEY SHORE
A freak tanning-bed accident sends The Situation and Snooki all the way back to the real Jersey Shore — Atlantic City circa 1920, bitches! — where they are hired by Nucky to help stage the biggest moonshine bash of the century. Alas, party turns to tragedy when Snooki calls Al Capone a ”gorilla juicehead” and The Situation and Nucky start creeping on the same flapper.
OUTSOURCED + GLEE
Figgins taps Sue to oversee the upstart cheerleading squad at McKinley’s sister school in India. While there, she visits Mid America Novelties and berates Todd & Co. for ineptly selling Sue’s Corner merch. For no reason whatsoever, the glee club then heads overseas to surprise Sue with a performance of an India. Arie song, keeping in step with Outsourced‘s cultural tone deafness.
