The band’s Florence Welch — fresh off a killer performance at the VMAs — fills us in on what she’s been listening to.

Arcade Fire The Suburbs ”I’m the hugest fan. Their album Funeral completely changed my life. I was still at school, and it kind of changed my whole attitude about the kind of album I wanted to make. That lush, orchestral sound mixed with that real intense sort of grit — it’s raw and orchestral all at the same time.”

Big Boi Sir Lucious Left Foot ”’Shutterbug’ is pretty much my song of the year. With that intro it’s just unbeatable, I think.”

Yeasayer Odd Blood ”What’s nice about this album is the lyrics are really earnest and heartfelt, and the music is very offbeat and experimental. It’s that mix of sincerity and experimentation that I enjoy. They’re great live. There’s so many complex sounds on the album, but live, they captured them all completely.”
