Image Credit: Trae Patton/NBCHoly macaroni with pepper jack, PopWatchers! There are mere hours to go before the season 2 premiere of Community. And in case you haven’t done your summer assignment (which was to catch up on show!), you fail. Kidding. But in case you haven’t caught up or are new to the party, Alison Brie stopped by EW recently to give her picks for must-see episodes. At 22 minutes each, you still have time to check out these three episodes before the new season starts, but you must hurry…

“Introduction to Statistics” (episode 7) – Annie hosts a Day of the Dead party. Two words: Abed Batman. Two more words: The Beastmaster.

BRIE: “[It] was the first episode where all the characters came together. It will give you a really clear sense of who everyone is and what’s going on with everyone.”

“Contemporary American Poultry” (episode 21)Abed heads up a mafia-style operation to control the flow of chicken fingers in the cafeteria. It’s streets ahead.

BRIE: “It’s a good sign of what’s next to come – more parody-type episodes and stylized episodes.”

“Modern Warfare” (episode 23) Greendale goes paintball (and pop culture reference) mad.

BRIE: “It was just epic. There’s no other word for it.”
