Kristen Bell plays a woman who discovers that her brother is marrying her old high school rival (Cloverfield‘s Odette Yustman) — and then proceeds to sabotage the impending nuptials. As with many weddings, there is drama around the dance floor, in this case when the entire family takes dance lessons from a wedding planner (Kristin Chenoweth). Not surprisingly, the standout in that scene was Betty White, who plays the grandmother of Bell’s character. ”Betty did her own stunts, lemme just say it,” says Bell, noting that the 88-year-old actress’ reluctance to use a double is not unlike a certain A-lister’s. ”Betty is so similar to Tom Cruise in the way they work. If I would compare Betty to anyone, it would be Tom Cruise.” We bet she hears that all the time.
