Kanye West shoots movie in Prague for upcoming album
Photos of Kanye West shooting a movie in Prague leaked online today. It’s the companion piece to his as-yet-untitled fifth album. And hanging out with a small deer next to him, West brings one most hilarious tweets to life. “On set of the movie…,” West wrote on Aug. 26. “this doe just refuses to sit still… I told the deer… ‘what would Bambi do?’ & she looked at me like I was crazy.” The next day he talked about how much time was going into the movie. “Just wrapped for the day…,” he said. “been shooting 16 hour days … I’m so excited … it’s like a child’s delusions become reality!”
He finished shooting last week. “Last day in Prague,” he wrote. “We’ve shot some good stuff so far … really good … NO! I mean REALLY GOOD!” West’s no stranger to the Czech Republic’s capital. In 2005 he and director Hype Williams shot the video for his Late Registration single “Diamonds from Sierra Leone” there.
I expect his “delusions” to be a wild and fun ride on film, like a hip-hop version of Michael Jackson’s 1988 sci-fi adventure Moonwalker. What do you think West’s film will be about and feature? Let us know.
