If you want to see something Hilarious, head out to the movies on Sept. 8. has learned that Louis C.K.’s stand-up concert film—which premiered at Sundance in January—will be screened for that one night in the following eight cities: Austin; Boston; Chicago; Los Angeles; New York City; Philadelphia; San Francisco; and Washington, D.C. (Click on the individual cities or for more information on Friday, when tickets begin to go on sale.) If you can’t find Louis C.K.: Hilarious at a theater near you, fear not. The cable channel Epix will debut the film on Sept. 18, and Comedy Central also has plans to air it next year and to release it on DVD. The 42-year-old comedian, known for his fearlessness and loathing (self-based and other kinds), can be seen in his FX comedy Louie; he’ll alsokick off a 31-city stand-up tour on Sept. 17 in San Francisco.
